BACKGROUND; Running Masters has been administering athletic events for over 30 years. In that period of time we have conducted over 1,000 events with some of the most noteworthy being the Phoenix 10K, formerly the New Times 10K with 7 different starts and over 10,000 participants. The Stroh's Run for Liberty, for which Running Masters received a National Award for conducting one of the three best events in over 120 cities nationwide, The Army Marathon and numerous others including In-Line Skate as well as Triathlon and Biathlon events.

Harvey Beller, Running Masters founder, is currently on the Board of Directors of Arizona Senior Olympics, a member of the United States Olympic Committee from Arizona and has received the Governor's Council Award for Leadership, Sports and Fitness. Harvey was also part of the American Delegation to the Beijing Marathon in 2000.
